With what started with 38 countries, is finally down to just one. France are the ClanBase Nations Cup XIV winners in Counter-Strike 1.6, defeating Sweden on de_inferno 16-9 and de_train 16-13.

The two teams faced off on de_inferno to begin the final, and after a few sloppy rounds, France were able to steady the fastest and take the opening half 10-5. The second half, France were able to continue their momentum and hold off any challenges Sweden threw at them and take the first map 16-9.

The next map would see de_train be the final showdown between the two finalists, which proved to be a great sniper duel as both teams were packed full of marksmen. France would once again get the better of the men from Sweden and take the map and the title with a 16-13 win.

With this victory, France are now the champions and take home the title of ClanBase Nations Cup XIV winners. The final placings were:
